MemoXpress Learning Hub
To bring the latest mobile technology closer to our customers and staff and together learn with them.
In 2010, the initial plan is to create a group which handle a training for customers and staff bringing the newest promising smartphone operating system from Google, Android OS. The MX Learning Hub (originally known as Android Pals), a group of 5 members is a mixture of IT and Technical Heads namely Mr. Clifford Belleza – IT Head, Mr. Paul Balisi – Brand Technical Head, Mr. Jack Vestil – Brand Technical Head, Mr. Aldren Tubino – Brand Technical Head and Mr. Nino Matienzo – Brand Technical Head, who happens to be well-versed and knowledgeable with the features of smartphones. We go ON TOUR, visiting selected MemoXpress stores nationwide like Trinoma Mall, SM Marikina, SM Megamall and other provincial branches to promote Android OS to customers.
The project was successful as slowly, customers are getting more familiar with the features of Android OS.
A need to sustain the training progress of customers and employees, however the original members of the team were tasked to take new individual responsibilities. Come 2011, along with Mr Nino Matienzo and Mr. Russel Tabing – Brand Technical Head, together they pioneered the creation of MX Learning Hub. Originally, started with 2 newly-hired members who were trained to handle training of various topics related to smartphones including Android OS.
MX Learning Hub is now a group 30 members…
At present, MX Learning Hub is now a group 30 members who handles 40 branches of learning hub stations at MemoXpress stores nationwide and have expanded topics from originally android os to several topics such iOS, windows OS, BlackBerry OS and features such as Digital Photography, Data Backup and Restore, Cloud Storage, Mobile Technology and more. MX Learning Hub already achieved a lot such as creating events for the grandparents, classroom training for customers, training projects with the brand partners and more.
